So my cousin and I got to talking and we both decided that our fav spring nail color is :
PERIWINKLE!
Super pretty, super chic, and it has the cutest name!
Periwinkle can be described as a color in between blue and violet. It’s such a flirty spring color, you can’t go wrong with this pretty pastel. It’ll stand out against an all black ensemble or you could even throw on a neutral colored tee (grey/white) to give an all over relaxed vibe. It’s a perfect dusty color so you won’t have to worry about it being too bright on your hands or feet. I’ve even seen girls with their hair colored periwinkle! Our obsession doesn’t just end with nail polish, we love it on cute summer dresses, purses and even make up! It’s extremely versatile and can make for a great splash of color on any occasion . Play off periwinkle’s mysterious allure on your next date or have some fun with contrast by pairing it with some mustard colored shorts at Coachella . (See you second weekend!) Gold and yellow variations are good opposites that compliment periwinkle without having a clash so don’t be afraid to mix it up. The periwinkle possibilities are endless!
